Quality manufactured homes are made with good materials.  If you are planning to just buy a manufactured home, ask questions about the quality of the materials that are used in constructing the home.  Look at the interior and exterior doors to see if they are hollow.  Check to see if the floor squeaks, and even if the floor moves underneath you when you walk.  How thin or thick the walls are can also give a clued to the quality of materials used.  If at all possible, get a warranty with the home.  If a home warranty is available, check to see how long it is effective and what all it covers.  Quality manufactured homes are worth every bit of penny spent on it because it can last a life time.
